14 years ago, I painted my first abstract art. I lived in a 350 sq ft studio apartment in Manhattan and I wanted to decorate my space - living room, dining room, and bedroom combined in one.
Has it ever occurred to you when you look at abstract art, anyone can do this and so do you?
Famous artists produce a lot of artwork repetitively enough to establish his/her own style, and that style eventually influences other artists and even creates movement. But you don't have to set yourself as an artist as far as just expressing yourself. I truly believe anyone can draw/paint.
Here's my story of how I painted my first abstract art. Who knew this painting would move with us over 4 different cities. Wherever we are, I finally feel at home when this painting is hung.
